Chester Creek is 1 of 23 creek ravines flowing through the city of Duluth, Minnesota.   

The time of radio dispatch that water rescue was necessary was 2:30am on Sunday, September 27th.  23.

Dr. Seuss was rejected by 23 publishers when he first tried to get his stories to the world.  The 24th publisher sold six million copies and made him a legend.  Dr. Seuss' perseverence was his destiny. 

The book of Psalms, Job, and Proverbs in the bible all deal with overcoming adversity.  Which chapter in each of these books dealt with perseverance, heart, and possibility?  23. 

Kyle Maynard, suffering from congenital amputation, finished his senior year of high school with a wrestling record of 23 wins.  Maynard became the world's strongest teen by bench pressing his weight 23 times.  Read his book, No Excuses, and learn what it takes to realize that difficulties are just obstacles to overcome.

And at Abbott Northwestern Hospital, my room was part of Station 23 of the Sister Kenny Institute for rehabilitation. 

And finally, I scored a 23 when I took the ACT's during high school.

23 is ME.
